I considered doing a video to show off the pedal snake but after watching Jody Page do what he does best in his promotional video I decided to post it here. First of all Jody is a remarkable musician and a tone master, he is also one of those guys who is practical, an all American.

I was interested in PedalSnake due to my interest in the world’s best pedal board the PedalTrain. I heard about the PedalSnake through the owner of PedalTrain and gave Jody a call. Right off the bat Jody was infectious and you could tell that he lives eats and breaths music. Try out his CD and you will instantly know this cat is no slacker on the guitar or as a writer and performer. Jody takes his showmanship and mixes it with a business sense that’s hard to not pay attention to. By listening one can gleam a southern bucketful of good common sense and technical common sense from Jody Page. Jody happily sent me his product and I happily went to comparing it to other brands of snakes that are close but not the real deal, the other brands for which I will not name were thin and didn’t seem to have the durability of the PedalSnake product or even come close, the workmanship in the shrink bands on a PedalSnake are first rate and the gage of rubber outer coating is thick and durable ready to take a stomping. It also sports connectors that are adaptable to new technology among other innovative features. I don't want to reinvent the wheel and no one does a better job at explaining the features of PedalSnake better than Jody's web site http://www.pedalsnake.com. What I want to accomplish here is a first hand account from a third party as to the durability and usefulness of the PedalSnake.
I like the Velcro straps that come with the PedalSnake they are useful for strapping the snake to the bottom of my pedal board. I just coil up the snake and set the entire unit in its case, no need to completely breakdown my set up thus saving wear and tear on the pedal connectors. All I have is a single heavy duty cable running from the side of my board to the back of my amp. The cable can be run under stage or right on the floor but in the case of pedal boards and all the mess that comes with having allot of pedals less is more and the PedalSnake provides a low profile and clean set up. The quality of the snake actually helps cancel out noise. I do suggest that you use a great set of cables for your rig such as those found at Accusound Cable Company. The combination of good cables and PedalSnake in conjunction with a board like PedalTrain makes for the ultimate foot controlled rig.
I cannot say enough good things about this product and Jody Page. Jody’s creativity and attention to tonal detail has afforded the rest of us the opportunity to maximize performance and tone.
